Cookie Policy

Last updated November 6, 2026

This policy explains how rahuldoesmortgages.ca uses cookies and similar browser storage, the choices available to you, and what happens when third-party services are used.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies are small files a website or service stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage can also keep information on your device. These technologies can remember preferences, maintain security, save progress and measure website use.

Your analytics choice

The cookie banner stores your choice as rb_consent_v1 in local storage so the site can remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. This preference is necessary to operate the banner and is not a record of your mortgage application.

Google tags are configured with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. Accepting updates those consent settings and loads Google Tag Manager. Declining keeps the denied preference. Google's own documentation explains how its tags behave under consent mode; Google services may still receive technical request information when their scripts load.

Storage used by site features

  • Consent preference: remembers your accepted or declined analytics choice.
  • Application progress: the pre-application can save your current answers and step in local storage so you can resume on the same device. Successfully completing or clearing the relevant draft removes it as designed.
  • Calculator preferences and drafts: some calculator tools remember dismissals, saved inputs or contact details entered for follow-up.
  • Attribution: first- and current-session referral information helps identify how a visitor found the site and can accompany a lead submission.
  • Conversion state: a temporary session-storage flag helps prevent duplicate lead conversion events after a successful submission.

Do not enter sensitive financial information on a shared device. You can remove locally saved information by clearing this site's browser data; doing so may also remove saved progress and preferences.

Third-party services

Calendly, Google, Birdeye, WhatsApp and other linked or embedded services may use their own cookies or receive technical information when you interact with them. Their policies and your settings with those providers apply. Following an external link leaves this website.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local or session storage through site settings. Blocking necessary storage may prevent preferences, saved drafts or some forms from working as expected. You can change browser settings without changing your mortgage application by contacting Rahul directly.
